Cat owners, this one's for you. We've just finished upgrading the cat area at our Batavia location, and we couldn't be more excited to show it off. Cats have always had their own space at Evergreen Kennels, but the new Batavia cat room takes it to another level: brighter, more comfortable, and built around what cats need to feel calm while you're away.

A Room Just for Cats

Most cats don't love noise, and they really don't love barking. That's why our Batavia cat area is a completely separate room from the dog kennels. It's quiet, clean, and climate controlled, with a window for natural light and a TV to keep our feline guests entertained.

The room also has a large viewing window into our lobby. When you drop off or pick up, you can see exactly where your cat is staying, and that peace of mind goes a long way.

Two Styles of Kitty Condos

Every cat gets a private kitty condo. The upgraded room has two styles:

• Multi-level stainless steel condos with separate compartments, so there's room to rest away from the litter box.
• Classic wood-framed condos with wire-mesh fronts that let in plenty of light and air.

Cats from the same household can often stay together. Just let us know when you book.

Getting Your Cat Ready for Their Stay

A little preparation makes the first stay smoother for everyone:

• Vaccines: Rabies and Distemper are required. Email records to evergreenkennelsboarding@gmail.com before drop-off.
• Food: Bring your cat's regular food in a container labeled with their name. Keeping their diet the same helps them settle in.
• Medications: Pre-load oral medications in a pill box labeled with days of the week and AM/PM. We don't give injectable medications, including insulin.
• Something from home: A small, machine-washable blanket that smells like home can help a nervous cat relax.

Batavia drop-off and pick-up hours are Monday through Friday 9 AM to 4 PM, Saturday 9 AM to 11 AM, and Sunday 3 PM to 5 PM. Payment is by credit or debit card only, and every stay earns Paw Points toward money off your bill.

Close to Batavia, Buffalo, and Rochester

Our Batavia location at 8870 Wortendyke Road sits just off I-90, about 35 minutes from Buffalo and 40 minutes from Rochester. Cat boarding is also available at our Churchville location for families on the Rochester side.
