Our Batavia Dog Boarding Facility

Our Batavia kennel is purpose-built for pet comfort and safety. Every dog stays in their own individual indoor/outdoor run, giving them dedicated space along with access to fresh air and sunlight throughout the day. The facility is fully heated and air conditioned year-round, with heated floors for added warmth during Western New York winters. In the evenings, soft music and night lights keep dogs calm and comfortable through the night.

Our kennel runs are open by design, allowing dogs to see and hear their surroundings rather than being isolated in an enclosed crate. This keeps dogs mentally engaged and reduces the anxiety that often comes with unfamiliar environments.

What's Included in Every Boarding Stay

Every dog boarding stay at our Batavia location includes twice-daily feedings on your dog's normal schedule, individual feeding programs using the food you provide, attentive care from our staff of genuine animal lovers, and a safe, clean environment monitored throughout the day and night. We do our best to keep your dog's routine as consistent as possible so their stay feels as normal as it can.

Want to give your dog a little extra during their stay? We offer 1-on-1 playtime sessions in our large outdoor play yards, available upon request. We also offer bath and brush services that can be added to any boarding stay, so your dog comes home clean and refreshed. View all services here.

Boarding Requirements

All dogs must be current on rabies, distemper, and kennel cough vaccines. Records must be emailed to evergreenkennelsboarding@gmail.com before arrival. Please bring enough food for the full stay in a clearly labeled plastic container. Bedding and toys from home are welcome; all bedding must be machine washable. If your dog takes medication, please pre-load it in a labeled pill box with days of the week and AM/PM clearly marked. We do not administer injectable medications including insulin. Payment is by credit or debit card only.

Batavia Location Hours

Pickup and drop-off hours at our Batavia location are Monday through Friday 9 AM to 4 PM, Saturday 3 PM to 5 PM, and Sunday 9 AM to 11 AM. Dogs picked up before 11 AM Monday through Friday on the day of checkout are not charged a boarding fee for that day. Pickups after 11 AM on weekdays do carry a boarding fee. A boarding fee also applies for Saturday pickups at the Batavia location.

Our Batavia facility is located just off I-90, making it an easy drive from across the region. We are about 35 minutes from Buffalo, 40 minutes from Rochester, and right in the heart of Genesee County for local Batavia-area pet owners.

About Evergreen Kennels

Evergreen Kennels is owned and operated by Bobby and Dawn Vetere. Bobby is a former Monroe County Sheriff's K-9 Deputy with professional training in dog handling and canine first aid, certified by the Veterinary Tactical Group. Our staff is made up entirely of people who genuinely love animals, and it shows in the care every pet receives during their stay. We also have a second location in Churchville, NY for pet owners on the Rochester side of the region.
