Bath and Brush Add-Ons: Send Your Dog Home Clean After Boarding

You walk in to pick up your dog after a trip, and there is the tail wag, the happy dance, the big hug. Then you get in the car and notice that your best friend could use a little freshening up.
That is completely normal after a few days in any kennel. Dogs spend time outdoors, roll around, and generally act like dogs. The good news is there is an easy fix. At Evergreen Kennels, you can add a bath and brush-out to any boarding stay at our Churchville or Batavia location, so your dog comes home clean and ready for the couch.
What Is a Bath and Brush-Out?
It is exactly what it sounds like: your dog gets bathed and brushed out by our staff. We keep it simple and focused on sending your pet home clean. But for most families, a good bath and brush is just what they want after a boarding stay.
Two Ways to Book a Bath
- Add it to a boarding stay. Let us know when you book or at drop-off, and your dog will go home fresh at the end of the visit.
- Book it by appointment. You don't need to be boarding to use the service. Bath and brush-outs are available by appointment.
You can also add a bath to a daycare day. Our dog daycare in Churchville offers daytime drop-off and supervised care, and a bath fits right into that visit.
How Pricing Works
Bath and brush-out pricing is based on your dog's weight. A Chihuahua and a Newfoundland are very different jobs, after all. Call either location for details, or check our pricing page for an overview of our services.
Every bath also earns Paw Points. You get 1 point for every $1 you spend on any service, and 500 points is worth $10 off. There is nothing to sign up for, points never expire, and your balance prints on every receipt. Learn more on our rewards page.
Why a Bath After Boarding Makes Sense
Our dogs enjoy individual indoor/outdoor runs with fresh air and sunshine, and many also go out for 1-on-1 playtime in our large outdoor play yards. That is all good for your dog, but Western New York weather means mud in spring, dust in summer, wet leaves in fall, and slush in winter. A bath at the end of the stay takes care of all that before your dog hops back in the car and onto the furniture.
It also saves you a job. Coming home from a trip usually means unpacking, laundry, and catching up on everything you missed. Bathing a big dog in the tub is one more chore you can cross off the list.
Pairing a Bath With Other Add-Ons
A bath goes nicely with 1-on-1 playtime. These are 15-minute sessions in a large outdoor play yard, with a kennel attendant right there with your dog. Your dog does not play with other people's dogs, so it is a calm, personal time. Many owners book playtime during the stay and a bath at the end. You can see all of our options on our services page.
